Professional Indemnity
If you are starting, buying, or running a company, in today's litigous society it pays to have the correct cover in place. If something goes wrong in the wake of providing consultancy, advice or services to clients, a claim can be made against the business.
Professional Indemnity insurance is bought to provide cover against claims resulting from negligent acts, errors, or omissions. Cover may include claims arising from intellectual property, loss of documentation and dishonesty. The minimum limit of indemnity is £ 100,000.

Professional Indemnity provides cover up to the chosen limit of indemnity including damages and costs and expenses, which the company becomes legally responsible to pay, as a direct result of negligence by the company, in the conduct and carrying out of specified professional activities.*
* Definition of specified professional activities is the supply or performance by you as a professional of any:
- Design, plan or specification
- Supervision of construction
- Feasibility study
- Technical information calculation
- Surveying
- Undertaken only by or under the direction and direct control of a properly qualified person.
The limit of indemnity is any one occurrence and in the aggregate. Any policy excess will be as specified in the quotation.
